Managing Director of Bio-D, met His Majesty King Charles III at a royal reception for recipients of the King’s Award for Enterprise

Lloyd Atkin, managing director at Yorkshire-based ethical cleaning products manufacturer Bio-D, met His Majesty King Charles III at a royal reception for recipients of the King’s Award for Enterprise, hosted at Windsor Castle.
Bio-D was awarded a King’s Award for Enterprise for Sustainable Development, which recognises and celebrates the success of exciting and innovative businesses across the UK, with recipients demonstrating outstanding success in their field.
One of the most prestigious business award in the country, Bio-D was one of 252 organisations to be recognised as part of the 2024 awards and was one of just 29 businesses to secure an award in the Sustainable Development category.
Lloyd Atkin said of the experience: “Being invited to Windsor Castle as a result of Bio-D’s achievements in sustainability has been a privilege and marks a key milestone for us.
“It is especially rewarding being recognised for something that is so crucial to the business, and a commitment we are truly passionate about."
