KCOM partners with global brand to redefine the in-home broadband experience
7 November 2024
Hull-based broadband provider KCOM is teaming up with eero, an Amazon company, to provide a new online experience for customers.
KCOM will shortly be making the eero 6+ devices available to its customers, delivering world-class connectivity, enhanced broadband experience, new security features and mesh technology for complete home Wi-Fi coverage.
KCOM Consumer Managing Director Neil Bartholomew said KCOM was intent on delivering the best in-home experience for customers, demonstrated by joining with a trusted global brand like eero.
He said: “This new collaboration with eero demonstrates the scale of our ambition to redefine the in-home broadband experience for customers on our network across Hull, East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire.”
“eero devices come with an intuitive app that will give our customers the power to pause, prioritise and personalise the connectivity in their homes, allowing them to customise their internet experience and enjoy seamless streaming, surfing, working, gaming and everything else they love to do online.”
“As well as being fast and reliable, customers will benefit from enhanced security, monitoring connected devices, troubleshooting and managing online access for children. The new tech means that with multiple eero devices our customers can say goodbye forever to dead spots, drop-offs, and buffering – even when the whole family is online.”
This is KCOM’s latest innovation for customers and signals a greater focus on improving the in-home experience.
KCOM’s “The Power is All Yours” campaign, running since the spring, has been promoting the benefits of KCOM’s network in terms of its reduced buffering, increased security and resilience – even in busy family households or with data-intensive usage. This next phase encourages customers to take even more control of their connected home and customise their internet experience.
"At eero, our mission is to deliver fast, reliable, and secure Wi-Fi to customers around the world." said Sean Harris, eero’s President & CMO. “We’re excited to fulfil this promise by teaming up with KCOM and look forward to driving innovation together in the years ahead.”
Customers should contact KCOM’s customer services for more information. KCOM’s ‘eero heroes’ will be on hand to provide customer service support and technical back-up.
