Grimsby Community Energy is proud to announce its upcoming event, the Grimsby Energy Collective: Inspiring Cooperative Growth, set to take place on Wednesday 29 January 2025. This landmark gathering is the first of its kind in North East Lincolnshire, an area that has seen significant investment from the offshore wind industry. The event is designed to empower energy cooperatives, community benefit societies, and onshore renewable energy suppliers across the north of England to share knowledge, forge partnerships, and drive innovation in sustainable energy.

This event will feature inspiring talks from leaders in the cooperative energy sector, including Hugh Goulbourne from CO2 Sense – a Community Interest Company, who bridge the gap between public funds and private investment and sponsors of the event, Ian Porter from Savi Energy talking about cutting edge grid support services, as well Dr Vicky Dunn from Grimsby Community Energy.

As well as the talks we also aim to hold an interactive session to encourage collaboration, and a vibrant networking lunch with up to 15 stand holders who will showcase cutting-edge products and services in solar energy, consultancy, renewable technologies, and energy management.

Delegates traveling from across the North of England, including Teesside and North Yorkshire, have already confirmed their attendance, making this a truly regional event.
