Five-star Beal retains top customer service rating with standout score

East Yorkshire-based Beal has retained the Home Builders Federation (HBF) five-star customer satisfaction rating once again, with an exceptional score of 97.2 per cent, making it officially one of the country’s best housebuilders.

The score is based on the percentage of homeowners who would recommend their housebuilder to a friend, meaning almost every Beal buyer surveyed was happy to recommend.

The accolade from the HBF – the trade body which represents housebuilders in England and Wales – demonstrates Beal’s commitment to consistently delivering the highest standards of service to its customers.

The rating has come from impartial feedback from homebuyers, who completed their moves between October 2023 and September 2024. 

Buyers are asked to provide feedback about their satisfaction levels, while the rating also incorporates a detailed national survey conducted by the National House Building Council (NHBC), which assesses housebuilders on a one to five-star scale.

Beal took part in the scheme for the first time in 2021 and has received a five-star rating in every year since then, reflecting the consistent delivery of outstanding levels of customer service. 

This year, Beal is one of only four Yorkshire-based housebuilders to be awarded five-star status.

The five-star rating reflects satisfaction with the build quality of Beal homes and how buyers are supported throughout their homebuying process, and beyond, by the housebuilder’s dedicated Sales Executives, Selections Design Consultants and the Customer Care team. 

It also takes account of customers’ experience of Beal’s unique Design Lounge service, under which buyers have hundreds of options to personalise their new home. 

First-time buyers, Sareyah Mustafa, a PhD student, and her partner Callum Higgins, a postman, moved into their three-bedroom Roxby home at Beal’s Thonock Vale development in Gainsborough, North Lincolnshire, in early 2024. 

Sareyah said: “We recommend Beal all the way. You couldn’t ask for more from a housebuilder. Nothing is too much trouble and the support is excellent. 

“The quality of Beal’s homes is superior to any others we looked at. From the brickwork to the appliances, you can see the high quality in every detail.” 

Georgia and Sam Towle moved into their four-bedroom Haxby home at Holderness Chase in Preston, East Yorkshire, in July 2024.
