This exhibition brings together primary and secondary school pupils, policymakers, community voices, academics, artists, and the public in a visual dialogue about Hull's response to climate change. Led by the University of Hull’s Energy and Environment Institute, this collaborative effort aims to bring these intergenerational voices into conversation on identifying local problems and proposing solutions for a future Hull.

An exhibition highlight is the Climate Dialogue Maps, created through interactive workshops. These maps showcase diverse perspectives across different ages, areas, and sectors, reflecting residents’ concerns, talents, imagination, and solutions. These collaborative works of art and visual tools that bring a variety of Hull-based voices together to co-create a climate ready Hull.

Team members will be on hand on Saturday 22nd June for an interactive exhibition opening event between 1 and 5pm. Come and add your voice to plans for a sustainable future – a future that is resilient to environmental crises (including flooding) and welcoming to the natural world.

Dr. Steven Forrest expressed his enthusiasm, saying, "I'm extremely excited that we can continue this dialogue with members of the public and I’m eager to hear their thoughts on the city's challenges, solutions, and future. This exhibition explores the priorities of our diverse communities and can influence how we develop our city."
