Hull and East Yorkshire Mayoral Business Hustings

24th April 2025
4:30pm - 6:30pm
Aura Innovation Centre, Bridgehead Business Park, Hessle, HU13 0GD
HEY Business Hustings 01

In just a few months’ time, on 1st May 2025, the residents of Hull and East Yorkshire will elect a new Mayor who will take the lead on developing and growing the region’s economy; and act as an ambassador in promoting Hull and East Yorkshire as a great place to live, work, learn and invest.

Future Humber in partnership with our national business membership bodies - CBI, FSB, Hull and Humber Chamber and Make UK would like to invite the business community to join us for a mayoral business hustings event where you will be able to meet the candidates, hear more about their plans and priorities for the region, and question them directly on the real issues that matter to your business. The event will be facilitated by Ian Leech, Business Editor of Yorkshire Business Insider.

The candidates who will be participating in the hustings include (but are not limited to):

  • Luke Campbell, Reform UK
  • Rowan Halstead, Yorkshire Party
  • Anne Handley, Conservative Party
  • Kerry Harrison, Green Party
  • Margaret Pinder, Labour Party
  • Mike Ross, Liberal Democrats

Directly ahead of the formal proceedings, there will be an opportunity for networking with fellow attendees. If you would like to submit a question to us that you would like to be raised on the day, we would be keen to hear from you.

Join us on Thursday 24th April from 16:30 – 18:30 at the Aura Innovation Centre, Bridgehead Business Park, Hessle, HU13 0GD

Places to the event are limited, so please register now to reserve your seat. (Please note, registration is restricted to one representative per organisation.)

We look forward to welcoming you to the event.
