EcoClarity’s breakthrough service and patented technology takes problematic tankered liquid waste from commercial kitchens and the food industry - containing fats, oils and grease (FOG) - and converts this valuable resource into biofuel for use in vehicles.

Without proper handling and treatment, waste containing fats, oils and grease can be extremely destructive, blocking sewerage networks, causing flooding, polluting the environment and increasing greenhouse gas emissions. EcoClarity’s approach is completely unique - it creates a perfect circular economy solution that benefits multiple stakeholders in utilities, industry, hospitality, waste management, society and the environment.

EcoClarity is growing a network of FOG Recovery Hubs across the UK, with plans to scale to 20-30 sites in the next three years. Multiple potential sites have been identified, and the company is currently working in close partnership with Yorkshire Water on a FOG Recovery Hub in Hull.
