Dove House Hospice
Dove House Hospice has been caring for the people of Hull and East Yorkshire for almost 40 years, helping them to live their best life possible, despite their illness, providing end of life care that embraces the whole family.
Although Dove House is best known for end of life care, many people are surprised to find out about our work out in the community. Our Hospice Neighbours team help local people who are socially isolated, and our Friday Friends drop in sessions are there for people in our local community to come together to make new friends and have fun.
Patients and their families are at the heart of Dove House, and our future plans revolve around their needs, putting patient choice and the future needs of the local community at the forefront of our decision-making process. Through increased community consultation we will engage with even more people, to understand what they need from us, to hear from people who have not used hospice services, to ensure that our services truly reflect the needs of the people we serve.
Our belief is that working collaboratively with others not just in the healthcare arena but across all sectors, helps us to provide the best services for all people in our region.
